Fire Prairie Panther Overstep Walk

Rob’s Notes:

Front and rear left tracks taken from a large male panther in Big Cypress National Preserve in South Florida.

Tracks were harvested near Turner River on an old logging trail.

The panther was in an overstep walk which is what this double track demonstrates. This is #1 or natural gait for Panthers.

I believe the trail cam shot that I took 3 years after harvesting this track to be the same animal.
